Information we collect

• Information you voluntarily provide by phone, email, calendar booking, or during a consultation.
• Questions and conversation context you enter into the Tax Wizard AI assistant.
• Limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and a randomly generated session identifier used for chat continuity and rate limiting.

The website currently uses session storage for the random chat identifier. It does not use advertising cookies or sell visitor data.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, provide requested services, operate the AI assistant, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the website and client experience.

AI assistant and service providers

When the AI assistant is active, chat messages are transmitted to OpenAI for automated processing. OpenAI may retain API content and related safety logs for a limited period under its applicable business and API data policies. Do not enter confidential tax records or personal identifiers into the assistant.

Consultation booking is provided through Google Calendar. Email, website hosting, security, and other service providers may process limited information as necessary to deliver their services. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclosure and sale of information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers supporting website or business operations; with professional advisers when reasonably necessary; when you direct or authorize disclosure; or when required to comply with law, protect rights, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful government requests.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, professional obligations, security, dispute resolution, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. The website does not intentionally maintain a permanent business database of AI chat transcripts, but hosting and AI providers may retain operational or safety logs under their policies.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Sensitive tax documents should be exchanged only through the secure method Gurkan designates.

Your choices

You may choose not to use the AI assistant and may contact Gurkan directly. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held directly by the business, subject to legal, tax, professional, security, and recordkeeping exceptions.
